Rietvallei caters for weddings and functions and with the beautiful setting the Estate offers we invite you to come and share your special day with us.


The spacious venue area (approximately 65 x 40m) is surrounded by vineyards with a breathtaking view of the Langeberg mountains. Spacious and modern kitchen facilities are available, while added comfort is provided to all guests in that the estate is surrounded by some of the area's most popular accommodation, providing the guests with suitable lodging just a stone's throw away.

VENUE


The venue can accommodate 200 guests.



CEREMONY


Rietvallei can also provide a venue for your ceremony, free of charge, should you wish to
have the wedding on the Estate as well. This would not include furniture or decor. Please
ask our staff for detail.



TIME


The venue is available until 13H00 for breakfast, 17H30 for lunch, 21H00 for a cocktail
party or until 01h00 for a dinner. Thereafter a fee of R500.00 per hour or part thereof will
be charged until 02h00. Cut off time for all functions at Rietvallei is 02h00.

WAITERS


Professional waiting service from Rietvallei. They do make a significant contribution to the
success of a function.


BEVERAGES


Wine: Only Rietvallei wines can be use and no corkage will be charged on champagne.
Bar Service: Provided by Rietvallei.
The above rate include two barmen for the evening, ice, water and shooter glasses as well
as the transport fee. The choice of an open bar or cash bar is to be confirmed by the
bridal couple.

SETTING UP OF VENUE/S


This can be started on the day before the wedding if it is practically possible. Speak to
our coordinating staff should you or a third party working on your behalf, have any special
needs with regards to decor, power or access to the premises.


BOOKING AND PAYMENT


Should you decide to book with us, your booked date will be reserved for 14 days. During
this period Rietvallei requires a deposit of 50% of the venue fee. If no deposit is received
within this period, the booking will be cancelled and the venue will be made available to
other clients. The deposit is non-refundable after 30 days should the booking be cancelled.



COORDINATING


Lizanne van Eeden from Rietvallei Wine Estate will be able to assist you in coordination regarding hiring if any assistance should be needed.
